Our plate products span a wide variety of grades and sizes of hot-rolled plate, strip mill plate and heat-treated plate. We produce as-rolled carbon, high-strength-low-alloy and alloy grades, plus heat-treated carbon and alloy grades. Our hot-rolled coil capabilities include carbon, high-strength-low-alloy and alloy grades for welded pipe and tubing as well as cut-to-length sheet and plate.

We offer line pipe for oil and natural gas transmission, producing large-diameter API grade line pipe, and medium-diameter ERW pipe for the construction, oil and gas industries.

Our rod and coiled reinforcing bar mill at the Rocky Mountain Steel, Rod/Bar Mill is one of the most sophisticated in the world—capable of producing rod products of unmatched quality.

Our Oregon Steel Structural Tubing Mill slitting line is the largest in the Western U.S., capable of slitting steel up to .625” thick and 110” wide. Hollow structural steel (HSS) applications are almost endless.

Rocky Mountain Steel produces the highest quality standard carbon and high-strength, deep head-hardened rail available—and is the only domestic producer of DHH 390, DHH390s (micro-alloy), HCP 410 and OCP425 rail.
